Missing Some One

The grass so green,
the sun so bright,
life seems a dream,
no worries in sight

tans and tank tops,
laughter and bliss,
each moment passes,
without even a miss

friends and cookouts,
memories and laughs,
good times to remember,
but how long will it last

the grass soon fades,
leaves begin to fall,
school replaces sleepovers,
oh I'll miss it all

I Love You

A million stars up in the sky

one shine brighter I can't deny

A love so precious a love so true

a love that comes from me to you

The angels sing when you are near

within your arms I have nothing to fear

You always know just what to say

just talking to you makes my day

I love you honey with all of my heart

together forever and never to part.

Love - An Essence of All Religions

Through love thorns become roses, and
Through love vinegar becomes sweet wine,
Through love the stake becomes a throne,
Through love misfortune becomes good fortune,
Through love burning fire becomes pleasing light,
Through love stone becomes soft as butter,
Through love grief becomes a joy,
Through love lions become harmless,
Through love sickness becomes health
Through love wrath seems to be a mercy,
Through love the dead rise to life,
Through love the king becomes a slave.

The Rain

I hear leaves drinking rain;
I hear rich leaves on top
Giving the poor beneath
Drop after drop;
This a sweet noise to hear
These green leaves drinking near

And when the sun comes out,
After this rain shall stop,
A wondrous light will fill
Each dark, round drop;
I hope the sun shines bright;
It will be a lovely sight.

The Perfect One

He Holds me when I start to cry

Makes me smile with just his eyes

Shares my hopes, dreams, and fears,

wipes away all my tears

I love him without regret

I just haven't found him yet
